OVERHAUL THE TEXAS BORDER MISSION

In light of the millions of illegal border crossings under the Biden Administration, the State of Texas has a duty to overhaul its border mission in preparation for future border crises.

At the minimum, the state must create a Border Protection Unit that is not able to be nationalized by a future administration who refuses to enforce our nation’s immigration laws and a Special Missions Unit capable of performing counter-cartel operations across our state.

PROTECT AMERICAN WORKERS

The Texas Legislature should pass a Universal E-Verify law to prevent illegal aliens from obtaining employment within our state.

It should also reform state economic incentive and tax abatement programs to ensure that these dollars go to companies who hire American citizens, not those who are reliant on cheap foreign labor.

The federal government must end the H-1B visa program and the OPT program that disproportionately displace highly-skilled American workers in favor of cheaper foreign replacements.

null

END SERVICES & SUBSIDIES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS

Every year, illegal aliens residing in our state take billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded subsidies and services, including education and health care.

These services are part of what makes Texas attractive to illegal aliens, and serve as part of the incentive structure driving illegal immigration into our state. The Texas Legislature must eliminate these taxpayer-funded incentives at the state, county, and municipal levels.

END BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP ABUSE

For too long, foreign visitors have taken advantage of a key misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause that has granted automatic birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, tourists, and temporary visa holders.

The authors of the 14th Amendment never intended for this clause to be used in such a way, and significant legal challenges and legislative action should be used to restore this clause to its original meaning.

LIMIT & REFORM LEGAL IMMIGRATION

Since 1965, over 70 million legal immigrants and tens of millions more illegal aliens have come to the United States. This has resulted in a total transformation of our culture, our politics, and our economy. The percentage of foreign-born individuals living in the United States has never been higher.

It has become clear that this pace of immigration makes assimilation impossible.

The United States must reform our legal immigration system to put the interests of American citizens at the forefront. The key provisions of the Hart-Celler Immigration Act of 1965 and the Immigration Act of 1990 must be repealed, and a net immigration moratorium should be instated, at a minimum.

null

TAX REMITTANCES TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Every year, billions of dollars are sent out of the United States economy and used to bolster the economies of foreign nations. The Texas Legislature should place a prohibitive tax on remittances sent by foreign nationals to their home nations and use the proceeds to bolster our state’s border mission.
